This part takes us along the river Skjálfandafljót in Bárðardalur Valley and the abandoned quiet Valley Mjóidalur up to the highland plateau of Sprengisandur with the oasis of Laugafell and warm natural pool in the middle of nowhere! We head down to the green valleys of Skagafjörður where we end the ride at Farm Sveinsstaðir.
Great combination of green valleys and soft trails along riverbanks and a real highland experience at the highest grounds of Iceland. The ancient trail across Sprengisandur has been one of our highlights in our tour selection through the years.
